As a member of the Personal Injury Team, Mr. Blau has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for his clients over a 30-year career. He has had recoveries in excess of $1,000,000 in several cases, both for victims of motor vehicle accidents and medical malpractice. He has handled cases originating in almost every state in the continental U.S., as well as cases in several other countries.

Chris has spent the past 35 years passionately fighting to protect the legal interests of individuals as opposed to those of corporations and insurance companies. During this period of time, he has worked to protect the rights of individuals in Family and Criminal court proceedings. For the past 25 years, his practice has been focused on advancing the interests of the injured and disabled in the areas of Worker’s Compensation, Social Security Disability and Personal Injury.

For the past four years, Mr. Silverman has returned to representing injured individuals, working of counsel with Carlson, Blau and Clemens SC’s Personal Injury Team. He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar, and is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Western Federal District Courts of Wisconsin.

As Mr. Chaparas’ area of specialty is civil litigation, his representation of the injured is in the courtrooms of Wisconsin and against the insurance companies of the United States. He has had numerous favorable jury verdicts awarding his clients hundreds of thousands of dollars. He has also settled claims totaling millions of dollars following litigation and trials.

Has been practicing Personal Injury Law for more than 33 years, having started working as a law clerk even before receiving his degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. He has successfully represented thousands of individuals for injuries across the broad spectrum of severity up to and including claims for wrongful death on behalf of loved ones left behind. He has recovered settlements on several occasions of one million dollars or more and many more for several hundred thousands of dollars as well as thousands for more modest amounts.
